31/10/2018 - MIB release a statement warning drivers of the dangers of falling victim to a ghost broking scam, following the worrying IFB survey conducted with YouGov showing drivers are at risk of falling victim to fake car insurance adverts on social media.
03/10/2018 - MIB (The Motor Insurers’ Bureau) has revealed that since thousands of people are unwittingly breaking the law by driving other people’s cars without insurance, resulting in over 3,000 vehicles being seized between July 2016 and June 2018.

12/09/2018 - Data from the Motor Insurers’ Bureau (MIB) Police Helpline reveals an estimated 25,000 learners are driving without insurance; MIB is urging learner drivers to meet insurance requirements.
23/07/2018 - Motor insurers writing business in the UK have voted to mutualise the risks associated with terrorism claims.
MIB will deal with all third party motor claims where terrorists driving vehicles injure or kill people on or after 1 January 2019.
The market will continue to fund MIB through a levy.
