20/09/2016 - A new video released today, ‘Protection’, aims to improve public awareness that car insurance is a legal requirement. This is the second video released by MIB (Motor Insurers’ Bureau), a not-for-profit body, as part of its Gone in Seconds campaign (www.goneinseconds.org.uk).
10/08/2016 - On 22 July we communicated the fact that the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission had intervened in the operations of Enterprise Insurance Company PLC, which is now insolvent.
03/08/2016 - The Supreme Court has concluded that the compensation to be awarded to Ms Tiffany Moreno should be assessed according to Greek law. Ms Moreno brought proceedings against MIB, claiming that her damages should be assessed according to English law. The case was heard in the Supreme Court on 12 and 13 July 2016.
