16/10/2017 - Uninsured driving is a problem that seriously affects the lives of those involved in road accidents and costs millions of pounds every year. However, some people are driving without fully appreciating the terms of their insurance and are unwittingly breaking the law.
29/08/2017 - For the first time in more than a decade, MIB is seeing an increase in the number of claims made following accidents with uninsured drivers.
24/08/2017 - MIB along with a number of key industry organisations issued a joint initial response to the EU Commission’s REFIT review of the Motor Insurance Directive on Monday 21 August. While the REFIT covers a range of areas, MIB’s priority is to encourage the Commission to take action to mitigate the consequences of the Vnuk ruling in 2014.
10/08/2017 - The Motor Insurers’ Bureau (MIB) is supportive of the Insurance Fraud Taskforce report and is continuing to work closely with the insurance industry to help ensure the recommendations from the report are implemented to the benefit of both honest policyholders and the industry.
