06 March 2020
We’re pleased to confirm Dominic Clayden, CEO at the Motor Insurers’ Bureau (MIB), has been announced a winner at the CEO Today Global Awards 2020.
The CEO Today Global Awards 2020 are dedicated to recognising strong leadership and celebrating business leaders who strive to reach new heights in innovation and business growth.
Each year, CEO Today magazine highlights the work of some of the most forward-thinking and progressive CEOs in business, across global regions and different corporate sectors.
MIB which was originally set up to provide financial compensation to victims of uninsured and ‘hit and run’ drivers has seen its remit expand significantly in recent years.
In addition to providing compensation to victim, the organisation also helps law enforcement to reduce uninsured offence rates, provides essential data services to the insurance industry and plays a key role in the UK’s counter-insurance fraud strategy through its sub-company the Insurance Fraud Bureau.
Currently MIB is undergoing a company-wide transformation programme to ensure its services meet the complex changing nature of the insurance industry.
Notably, the organisation is also working alongside the Ministry of Justice to develop the Official Injury Claims portal following calls the Government’s widely called for Whiplash Reforms.
Within CEO Today Dominic elaborates on MIB’s strategic vision and the company culture that the organisation’s Senior Leadership Team have cultivated to help recruit, retain and motivate the organisation’s talented workforce:
“When our people come into work each day, we want them to do so with a smile on their face because they’re excited by the work they do; they’re managed by inspirational leaders; and work with amazing people who are dedicated to making a difference to society.”
“In fact, regardless of your background, gender, sexual orientation or anything else you consider yourself to be, there is a place for you at MIB. A place where you can be yourself and bring your best self to work. Every day.”
Dominic also talks of his excitement for the future and the challenges that lie ahead, such as in advancing technology and the ethical use of data for the benefit of industry and society.
