MIB appoints new Chief Financial Officer
08 February 2019
Rajeev Arya will join MIB as Chief Financial Officer on 1 April 2019, succeeding Tony Sherman. Rajeev has held a number of senior executive roles in blue-chip organisations, including Volkswagen Finance and Santander Insurance. He is currently the Chief Finance Officer at Age UK where, for the last six years, he has overseen the transformation strategy for the whole group including financial services and retail.
MIB is embarking on a transformation programme to reflect the changing external environment and to evolve its offering to its diverse customer base. The programme will ensure MIB’s ability to effectively serve society for the benefit of all customers by delivering value-added, value-driven services.
Rajeev Arya said: “I am extremely excited to be joining MIB as I passionately believe in the cause and I feel I can positively contribute to MIB’s future success at this time of change and transformation.”
Dominic Clayden, Chief Executive Officer of MIB, said: "I would like to pay tribute to the change Tony has helped bring about to MIB over the last 10 years as MIB has increasingly been asked to lead and support a number of industry and government initiatives reflecting stakeholder confidence in our role as a not-for-profit, impartial organisation. Tony has been instrumental in ensuring that this objectivity is at the heart of MIB.”
Outgoing Chief Financial Officer, Tony Sherman said: “I have really enjoyed my association with MIB and am proud to have played a part in moving the organisation to the place it occupies in the insurance industry today – being held in high regard as a trusted partner for government, compensators and claimants.”
