MIB’s Chief Executive Ashton West is interviewed about the important role of the police in tackling uninsured driving and the valuable support MIB provides to police forces across the UK through its Contact Centre and Police Helpline service.
Launched today (23 May) on the Police Federation website www.polfed.org, the programme is being shared among 122,000 members and partners of the Police Federation, and the wider police sector.
The film was shot at MIB’s office in Milton Keynes and on location in Birmingham with the support of roads policing and community support officers from the Central Motorway Police Group.
Ashton West said of the film: “We were delighted to take part in the programme and tell the story of how we support the Police to apprehend and deal with drivers who choose to drive their vehicles without any insurance or with inappropriate cover.
“There is a strong partnership between MIB and our police forces and this well-produced film succinctly shows that and how we support and engage with roads policing teams day-in-day out. The film is an invaluable asset which we will be using to help explain a key part of our work at MIB.”
