Green fingered staff support children’s charity
06 May 2016
A group of green-fingered staff from MIB in Milton Keynes has visited The Children’s Trust to give their garden a makeover for the children and parents to enjoy. MIB has been fundraising for The Children’s Trust, the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury, since 2008.
Jessica Allchin, Children’s Trust Community Fundraising Manager said: “I would like to thank MIB for their kind donation of £13,614 from fundraising activities in 2015. We are very grateful to have their continued support.”
Ashton West OBE, MIB Chief Executive says: “We’ve been fundraising for The Children’s Trust for a number of years. We see the impact car accidents can have on a family, especially children, and we’re passionate about the great work The Children’s Trust does with helping children from the local area and nationally who’ve sustained brain injuries from accidents and illness.”
The MIB aims to significantly reduce the level and impact of uninsured driving. The Bureau provides compensation to innocent victims involved in accidents with drivers who have no insurance or failed to stop.
