We're pleased that we could support our members following the fire at Luton Airport.
Our team worked closely with London Luton Airport and APCOA - the management company that runs the affected car park – to identify the vehicles affected by the fire and establish their insurance status.
We used data from the MID (Motor Insurance Database) to establish who each of the vehicles affected by the fire was insured by and issued data to each insurer. This allowed insurers to plan an appropriate and efficient response to support their customers.
MIB's long-term vision is to end uninsured driving and we're investing now to achieve that vision sooner.
