Supporting ELTO members to meet the latest requirements

Through ELTO (the Employers’ Liability Tracing Office), we’re working to create a world where anyone who has suffered a work-related illness or accident has instant access to the information they need to trace their employer’s insurer.

By making it easy for members to upload policy data to our Employers’ Liability Database in compliance with Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) requirements, our data assurance audits play a vital role in making that possible.

Our auditing team are now fully booked for 2021.  If you still need support, please get in touch with us at CustomerEnquiries@mib.org.uk

The ELTO 2021 Business Plan is now available to download.

What the new rules for CUE mean for you

Alongside our long-term plan to modernise CUE (the Claims and Underwriting Exchange), we continue to deliver a programme of ongoing improvements designed to make the detection of fraud faster and easier.

Over the last twelve months, we’ve updated more than fifty validation rules. These include changes to allow insurers to check policies against CUE before speaking to their customers to verify information, new rules designed to improve compliance with GDPR, and long-term improvements that will soon make it easy to share information from CUE with the Insurance Fraud Bureau and our enforcement partners.

We’ll be sharing more detail about specific rules changes in the coming weeks.

Instantly improve ‘time to supply’ in MIAFTR

The new ‘engineer report date’ field is critical to improving the accuracy of MIAFTR. Here’s everything you need to know.
