MIB’s Programme Board, that’s leading the replatforming of our MID and MIAFTR data services onto a new single platform, has reviewed progress of its programme workstreams, listened to customer feedback and agreed a change to the programme timeline.  

Replatforming these two data services is a significant, change programme for MIB and we remain on track to deliver the platform and the Navigate portal within the original two-year window we’ve already outlined to customers and stakeholders. 

Our programme principles of ‘Land Safe’ mean that, for many customers, the transition to the platform will be a relatively simple process. But, after listening to what some customers have told us, we’re building additional time into our programme to support customers’ confidence in their own preparations and allow time for even more testing to minimise potential risk to the project. 

So, MID will be transitioned to the new platform first, over a single weekend to be confirmed in Q4, 2023 and MIAFTR will now transition in Q1 2024.  

We know that all our customers want to be fully prepared and confident they can meet the amended timeline we’re putting forward. And that’s why we’ve let customers know these changes now and will provide further details as soon as we can.
