Programme team welcomes new Focus Group members to interactive event

In June we welcomed members of our newly created Focus Groups to an industry event to kick-start our ongoing consultation commitment for our two-year Data Modernisation Programme.

The Focus Groups will be crucial in providing feedback and expertise to help deliver our programme to replatform the Motor Insurance Database (MID) and Motor Insurance Anti-Fraud and Theft (MIAFTR).

The fully interactive, virtual event introduced the programme, the delivery team members and the reasons why we’re transforming our two core services into a single, cloud platform.

Customer experience is invaluable to the programme team and customers will be working alongside us in the Focus Groups throughout the journey to create a flexible and adaptable service.

Focus Group members were welcomed by MIB’s Chief Customer Officer Ben Fletcher, who thanked everyone for taking the time to attend.

He said: “This work to replatform these systems is incredibly important to MIB, the Board, the Executive and you, our customers and your views genuinely do matter.

“The reason we have formed these Focus Groups is these systems need to be what you want them to be and therefore the programme of work we have from an engagement perspective will ensure that your views, your opportunities to share and shape what this looks like will be taken into account.”

The session also set out the programme’s key timelines and highlighted the benefits of the single, cloud platform to customers, partners and other stakeholders who joined the event.

The event also included interactive tool Slido which supported the comprehensive Q&A session that rounded off the session.
