From Monday 22 April, all active MIDportal users (including Policyholders) received an email to activate their Navigate portal account.

Activating your Navigate portal account

All users (including policyholders) that were migrated over to Navigate received an activation link.

The activation email was sent from noreply@identity.mib.org.uk and looks like the screenshot below.

  • After clicking the link, users will be prompted to set up their password and security question and will not be prompted to set up 2FA.
  • Users will automatically be enrolled with 2FA using the email address associated to their account.
  • When users log in to the Navigate portal they will receive a verification code to the email address associated with their account which they will need to use to verify themselves. If users wish to use a mobile number for verification instead of an email, this option will be available through the account management page.

  • If your activation email has been blocked or auto clicked by security software/firewalls it will need to be reissued by MIB. You can request a resend by raising a ticket using our Contact Us form.

Firewall issues

Some users are reporting they are not receiving the authentication email (the email containing the code required to login). This may be due to firewalls blocking the sender address.

We’re making some changes to reduce these firewall issues. Please ensure that noreply@okta.com is added to your email whitelist.

If you have not received your activation email let us know using our Contact Us form.

Please reach out to engagement@mib.org.uk if you have any further questions.
