We're committed to Navigate's continuous improvement.
Read on to see what we're doing to enhance the platform for the insurance industry, the public and the police.
Improved Check your Vehicle service
We launched an improved Check Your Vehicle service to the public on Thursday 10 April.
Many customers were pleased to hear we’re improving Check Your Vehicle. It’s a free service, migrated into Navigate last Spring. It's used millions of times every month by members of the public, to check if their vehicle is showing in Navigate.
We recognised the existing service needed improving and we're pleased with the improvements.
We think Check Your Vehicle helps drive a real benefit for the industry, avoiding thousands of calls that potentially would be made into insurers.
We’ve made changes to simplify and streamline the user experience, particularly for those using mobile devices.
Having already communicated these improvements in our regular Navigate updates, we shared the launch date so insurers were prepared for any temporary increase in customer calls.
Overall, we expect the changes to be received positively and reduce the call volumes into insurer organisations.
To improve public awareness, we've added a banner to our MIB website and askMID to say a new look Check Your Vehicle has launched.
